The Gryphon Theatre in Laramie reached out for some help designing a logo for their awesome music showcase series The Laradise Music Showcase. For the image of the gryphon- half eagle, half lion super beast- I aimed to use their great logo already in place as an inspiration. The gryphon that is typically associated with the theater is regal and stationary, with the feeling of being set in bronze. I wanted to show the beast’s potential energy, to show it wings wide, stepping forward- about to take to the skies. That to me felt like an appropriate image for what it feels like to attend this great concert series. Thanks Gryphon Theatre!
